• Begin at the historical center of the city with a visit to the Metropolitan Cathedral, built in 1753 and undergoing renovation today. Then you will visit the Public Market to learn about local gastronomy with Portuguese influence. A trip to the local handcraft market is also included where you will have a panoramic view of the city.
• Take a tour of the Lagoa da Conceição, famed for its shrimp cuisine. The Lagoon is ideal for nautical sports and boat trips.
• The tour will end at Joaquina Beach. Surrounded by large beautiful sand dunes, the beach is ideal for relaxing and surfing.

• Considered by residents and tourists alike as a place of singular beauty, Florianopolis has an abundance of sandy beaches to explore. There are beaches with waves for surfing and beaches with calm waters for swimming. Surfers flock to the beaches while others seek out tranquility and nature. A variety of outdoor sports are popular on the island, including diving, hang gliding, paragliding, mountain-biking and surfing. In addition to playing outdoor sports, you may like to tour the museums that display indigenous cultures of the coast or colonial antiquities.
