Crossed by both the Equator and Tropic of Capricorn, Brazil offers a wealth of flora and fauna in numerous ecosystems. This tour begins in one of the most awe-inspiring places in South America and the world: the Iguazu Falls. You will have the unique experience of visiting both the Brazilian and Argentine side of the incredible waterfall system that stretches 1.67 miles long with falls that reach up to 266ft high. Next you are off to the Pantanal, the best place in Brazil to see wildlife. The open vegetation of the Pantanal offers the possibility to come eye-to-eye with caimans, monkeys and even anacondas. Birds are the most frequently seen wildlife, but the Pantanal is also a sanctuary for giant river otters, jaguars, cougars, crocodiles, deer and anteaters. The final stop is Bonito, the city whose name translates to “beautiful” in English and an ever-increasing popular eco-tourism destination. There are over 30 attractions in the area, varying from subterranean caves with lakes and stalactite formations to extreme adventure sports such as rappelling and rafting. The most spectacular attractions are the snorkeling excursions in the Rio Sucuri, Prata and Aquario.
