brigadeiro
As a typical Brazilian chocolate, brigadeiro is popular amongst children and adults. Brigadeiro is usually served at parties and gatherings as a sweet treat. It became popular with the introduction of cocoa powder in the 1940s by Nestle, and thus bears the title of the tall, dark and handsome politician that was running for the presidency at the time.

Ingredients:
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1 tablespoon margarine
3 tablespoon cocoa powder
Preparation:
Cook over medium-low heat, stir vigorously the sweetened condensed milk, margarine and cocoa powder.
Cook the mixture until it thickens enough to show the pan bottom during stirring.
Pour the mixture in a greased dish and let it cool to room temperature. Take small amounts of the mixture with a teaspoon. Grease hands with margarine and make 1 ½ inch ball.
Roll the balls over chocolate sprinkles to decorate.
